University of Bedfordshire
It is a modern university with a total of six campuses across the counties of Bedfordshire and Buckinghamshire, offering courses in creative arts, sport, science, social sciences, business and a range of other subjects. Located in the town centre, the university’s Luton campus is home to seven departments, the students’ union and the Postgraduate and Continuing Professional Development Centre. Housing the Physical Education and Sports Science Centre and a number of lecture theatres and specialist labs, the Bedford campus is 20 minutes from Bedford town centre on foot. Situated just north east of Luton, the Butterfield Park campus plays a key part in nursing and midwifery courses. A number of the University of Bedfordshire’s health courses take place at its Buckinghamshire campus in the town of Aylesbury.
