The Bachelor of Information Technology and Systems (BITS) at Victorian Institute of Technology (VIT) focuses on delivering knowledge and skills in computer networking, application development and computer-based software to meet the current IT industry needs. Qualification Rule
To attain the Bachelor of Information Technology and Systems qualification, 24 units (144 Credit Points) including all core units must be achieved: Core Units: 13; Elective Units: 11. To attain specialisation students should select Stream 1 or 2 at Level 2 and follow through the same stream at Level 3 and complete at least 6 out of 11 elective units in the chosen specialisation stream with a minimum of 3 specialisation electives at Level 3. *Stream 1 Networking Stream; 2 Application Development.
