The University of Chichester has an interesting history. Whilst the site of the main campus has been used for over 130 years as a place of higher learning, it wasn’t until 2005 that the University was actually established in its current state. It is this mix of old and new that defines the university, with modern accommodation buildings and advanced facilities sharing a campus with 18th century manor houses and parks. The university currently operates 2 separate campuses, a main campus near the ancient cathedral city of Chichester and a second in Bognor Regis, very close to the English coast.
The university maintains some very modern academic and social areas on campus, such as advanced sports arenas and gyms, modern film-making and media facilities and modern accommodation. The main campus also has easy motorway routes to larger cities such as Portsmouth, Worthing and Brighton.
