Assumption College for Women
Assumption College, Changanacherry, was founded in 1950 by the Archdiocese of Changanacherry with the specific objective of empowering women through higher education. The college is affiliated to Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam. The college has the reputation of being one of the leading colleges for women in Kerala imparting value based education catering to the ever changing needs of the educational sector. The College was awarded Five star rating by Kerala Government, for the outstanding performance in the Additional Skill Acquistion Programme (ASAP).
