About GEMS Institute of Higher Education

 

 

GEMS Institute of Higher Education has always been at the forefront of education in Nepal. The management had  nearly two and half decades of unparalleled commitment and dedication to school level education. Then the management launched higher level programs in 2008 to give students a new avenue in education.

Since then, GEMS has been offering GCE A level, a prestigious programs offered by the University of Cambridge, the UK and Plus 2 in Science under the affiliation with National Examination Board, Nepal.

GEMS aims at developing the self-confidence and analytical skills, and inculcating a sense of discipline in students. GEMS believes that students experience a unique learning environment, and feel a difference there. It has a team of highly qualified and experienced faculty and academic administrators, who are always concerned about students’ academic performance and their overall development. GEMS focuses on providing students with the education of an international standard supported by the state-of-the-art facilities and technologies. It has plans afoot to introduce higher level courses and some international programs in the near future.

GEMS Institute of Higher Education offers management and science course for plus two and a Cambridge International A Level course. The A level course is designed to be an effective and easy approach to universal degree through a wide range of Science and Non science subjects. The two years program has been meticulously designed to prepare students for enrollment in university degree programs.

Students who have completed the SEE or equivalent degrees are eligible to undertake this course. Only science and management is offered at GIHE. The board examination for the Grade XI and Grade XII are held annually at the end of the academic year or twelve months after the commencement of the course i.e. in April/ May every year.
